Lawrence M. Galloway - Chief Academic Officer 

Lawrence M. Galloway began his education career in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a high school mathematics teacher in 2005. After three successful years of increasing math scores in East Baton Rouge Parish Schools, he was recruited to Uplift Education charter school network in Dallas, Texas as a middle math teacher. 

Mr. Galloway later became a founding administrative member of the first Early College High School (ECHS) in Tarrant County, Marine Creek Collegiate High School. The campus is housed on the campus of Tarrant County College (TCC) Northwest and was originally a partnership between TCC, Fort Worth ISD, and Lake Worth ISD. 

Mr. Galloway then went on to work for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in Washington D.C. Here he lead the team that designed and implemented the state's federal risk-based monitoring process. A requirement outlined in the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for LEAs. 

He earned his Bachelors degree in Economics from Southern University, his Masters in Education Administration from Texas A&M Commerce, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He is currently planning to go to law school.
